Itinerary Options
Ruby Lake is a beautiful, but more strenuous, option from the same trailhead. If you’d like to extend your trip, consider a day hike up to this stunning alpine lake. From the trailhead, head south along the Little Lakes Valley Trail and turn right (west) at the 0.5-mile mark onto Mono Pass Trail. After about 1.5 miles and 1,000 feet of elevation gain, you’ll reach the junction for Ruby Lake. Follow Ruby Lake Trail for a quarter mile to reach your destination.
